Rosie Thomas -

Rosie was first brought to public attention as a solo artist with her guest vocals on Damien Jurado's Ghost Of David album in 2000. Previously a member of dream-pop band Velour 100, Rosie's emotive, youthful voice is made rich, carrying the bright melodies across the breathy instrumentation. It's like musical spun glass, beautifully colourful and clear, yet at the same time very fragile. In contrast to her music, Rosie is also a stand-up comic, using the alter-ego of a geeky pizza delivery girl named Sheila.
