10-piece band Joey The Lips have a huge following in the South West. The Plymouth based band, now in their 15th year, are renowned for creating a truly electric show atmosphere and a very visual and spontaneous performance. They play a diverse brand of music billed as 'Funky Soul, Blues & Disco Revue' which belies their Commitments style soul band roots. Their current set includes classic soul numbers such as Otis Redding's 'Try a Little Tenderness' and Aretha Franklin's 'Think', but also popular classics like Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' and the band's storming version of the B52's 'Love Shack' - with a heavy metal medley thrown in for good measure.
