Despite their beginnings in 1998, EODM did not release an album until 2004, due to Josh Homme's dedication to his other band Queens Of The Stone Age. Following the debut release, however, much publicity was to be seen as a number of television productions snapped up their songs for use as soundtracks. In 2006, they were to release their second album. The premise for the group is simple: It's born of Jesse Hughes' desire to write music that sounds like the Eagles crossed with Death Metal.
