Drive By Truckers -

Four out of the five members of this group grew up in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and it's a town that seems to have defined them. The stories and spirit of the place are reflected in the band's lyrics, whilst the Truckers' sound draws on the musical heritage of Muscle Shoals- it was where some of the greatest soul and R&B records of all time were made. The band takes these influences and mixes them with high quality southern rock, with three members taking on songwriting duties. The results have been heard on several critically acclaimed albums, as well as hundreds of well-received gigs a year.
