Up-C... was originally formed due to anti-capitalist rage. Refusing to pay the £15 entrance for a millennium eve party at their local music club, they decided to form a band and play so they could get in for free. A year later, four became five and the rest is history. Over the years the band have gone through a few name changes but finally settled on Up-C Down-C Left-C Right-C ABC + START because they figured no one else would have this name as it's so stupid.
