'Emo' is a phrase so loosely tossed around nowadays it seems to only have significance to a series of sickly haircuts. The Starting Line, however, have remained true to their emotional pop-punk roots, with a sound built up of recognisable influences from acts such as Dashboard Confessional and Brand New.
