Lemar -

Possibly best known as the shock loser in the first Fame Academy, it was Lemar's performances with the likes of Lionel Richie during the show that marked him out as a true future star of the soul and r'n'b world. With his first single, Dance (With U), becoming a top 3 hit in 2003, here's one student that may still make the grade. Voted the Best Urban Artist at the Brit Awards 2004.
