The Magic Band -

Captain Beefheart's wildly influential and seminal band comprising Mark Boston on bass, John French on drums, Gary Lucas on guitar and Denny Walley on guitar. The Captain himself has retired from music, preferring to concentrate on painting, but since 2003 his vision has been represented by this group, whose members span all the different periods of The Magic Band's history.
