The Electric Prunes

In 1966, amid a flurry of feedback, tremelo and fuzz, the Electric Prunes emerged from the confines of their Los Angeles garage to become one of the top psychedelic bands of the time. Disbanded in 1968, their influence lived on. One magazine referred to the Electric Prunes as, 'the seminal philosophers of punk rock'. In 2001 the band reformed as a six-piece including original members Mark Tulin (bass/guitar), James Lowe (vocals/harmonica), Ken Williams (guitars) and Joe Dooley (drums).
