Billy Idol -
Founder member of seventies punk band Generation X, William Michael Albert Broad reached the height of his success with his second album, 'Rebel Yell' in 1984 with tight indie-punk anthems like 'White Wedding' going down a storm. After four platinum albums, the early 90s saw the demise of the peroxide punk icon with drug addiction, a motorcycle accident, a near fatal overdose and a dodgy experiment with techno and dreadlocks. After a brief part in 'The Wedding Singer' (1998), Idol reappeared in 2005 (blonde spikes fully restored) releasing 'Devil's Playground' full of riffs, hooks and attitude in true punk style.
