Dina Carroll -
One of the biggest UK female solo artists of the 90s, firstly as a featured artist on Top 10 pop hits with Quartz - 'It's Too Late', a cover of the Carole King song and then with her solo hits which include 'Ain't No Man' and the top five singles 'Don't Be A Stranger', 'The Perfect Year' and 'Escaping'. The album 'So Close' was the biggest selling debut album by a British female artist of that decade and she was the only woman to have two simultaneous Top 10 singles in 1993. Dina also went on to win a Brit for Best Female artist in 1994, and was nominated again in 1997 for her album 'Only Human'.
