American singer/songwriter, formerly of The Doobie Brothers. Michael occasionally joins The Doobie Brothers as a guest performer, and has also toured with Steely Dan. He also recorded duets with James Ingram (Yah Mo B There) and Patti Labelle (On My Own) in the 80s.
