Entombed

Swedish death metal band who started life as Nihlist in 1987. The group expanded in the early 90s to punk and hardcore, exploring a wide range of hard-rock sub-genres. Credited with unique guitar tones ('electric saw') and an upward-curve in their quality of songwriting, Entombed have a long-established cult status as a classic heavy metal and death metal band.
