The Cult

A band who've truly lived up to their name with their constant esotericism, existing just outside the mainstream since the 80s, when the band was conceived as Death Cult by Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy. Their loyal following has largely been to do with the marriage of goth-rock and heavy metal, combining emotion and spirituality with complex, unpredictable and driving guitar lines.
