Whilst their origins lie in a noisy visceral band formed in the early nineties, the Clem Snide that exists today is a far sweeter proposition, mixing elements of pop, country, folk and jazz. Led by a singer, guitarist and songwriter called Eef Barzelay, who writes truly unique lyrics, the band's music is luscious without being sentimental.
