Rock metal band from LA led by Maynard James Keenan who formed the band in the late 80s while remodelling pet stores using Feng Shui. Surviving several shifts in the band's line up, Tool's brand of gloomy metal riffage has made them one of the most influential rock bands of recent years. Popular (untrue) rumours about the band include: the band sacrifice children, Maynard has breasts and that certain band members are cannibals.
