Shirley Bassey -

One of the world's favourite divas. Probably best known as the singer on many well-known Bond themes (including 'Goldfinger' and 'Diamonds Are Forever'), Shirley has been lending her powerful voice to classic songs since the 1950's. As early as 1977 her status as a major musical figure was recognised (when she won a Britannia Award for Best Female Solo Singer in the Last 50 Years), and with more than a quarter-century of activity since, she is truly a living legend.
