Centro-Matic hail from Denton, Texas, a project of the prolific and much-lauded songwriter Will Johnson, whose long career has earned him an excellent reputation in the USA. Centro-Matic is the sister band of South San Gabriel, a similarly rostered band with a quieter feel. If trends continue, the band's enormous backlog of releases and tours can only increase.
