After several years as Black Francis, leader of alternative rock icons The Pixies, Charles Thompson renamed himself Frank Black and embarked on a solo career that allows him to indulge his eclectic pop sensibility unhindered by a band format. Now with his new backing band The Catholics, he is embarking on yet another new career.
