Rapper/composer Guru (AKA Keith Elam) formerly of hip-hop duo Gang Starr, one of the first outfits that attempted to fuse jazz with rap. Jazzmatazz continues in a similar vein, collaborating with various musicians in the process. Past Jazzmatazz releases have teamed up with the likes of Herbie Hancock and Isaac Hayes.
