Formed in 1990 to celebrate Frank Zappa's 50th birthday, the Muffin Men are considered to be 'the best Zappa band in operation' by Mike Keneally, former Zappa guitarist.. Zappa and Beefheart music performed with typical English humour and a touch of virtuosity.
