Multi award winning comedy act, with a genius for dark humour. The show was the brainchild of writer/performers Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Mark Gatiss, as well as writer Jeremy Dyson. They started off as a theatre act, winning the Perrier Award for comedy in 1997. This led to a spell on radio, before their first TV broadcast in 1999. The show focuses on Royston Vasey, a town peopled by freaks, sadists and the odd inbred couple, with all the main roles (including the female ones) being played by just three men.
