Bedouin Jerry Can Band

Bedouin Jerry Can Band -

An extraordinary group of nomadic Bedouins from the Sinai desert in Egypt, they dance and perform folk songs using reed pipes and desert flutes. But what makes them unique, is their percussive arsenal of Israeli jerry cans and ammo boxes, left behind from Israel's occupation of the Sinai in the Sixties and Seventies which they use to keep the beat. And if you're feeling thirsty, their perfomance also includes a coffee grinder who prepares and serves coffee for the audience.
