Altai Kai -

Altai Kai is the name used to describe the special style of throat singing that comes from the Altai Republic. This six-piece, prize-winning group use Altai fiddles, lutes, jews harp, shamanic drum and complex vocal techniques developed over centuries, to reproduce the sounds of the natural world. In turn, they communicate with the spirits of nature and convey the history and everyday life of their homelandthe Altai Mountains.
