Santa's Grotto: Father Christmas
Santa’s reindeer will be among the many attractions at Hatton Farm Village, near Warwick, this festive season where visitors can celebrate a traditional Victorian Christmas with live animals and all the trimmings.
Father Christmas and his sleigh, a nativity procession with animals, including donkeys and sheep, carol singers, roasting chestnuts, hot punch and mince pies will all add to the magical Christmas atmosphere around the Victorian lamp-lit streets and shops.
And, to give that authentic touch to a magical Christmas, three reindeer from Hatton Farm Village have been undergoing halter training in readiness for Santa’s sleigh ride.
Children will be able to meet Santa and his reindeer and receive a golden key to a secret toy shop, where elves will help youngsters pick their very own special gift.
Plus children’s shows, funfair rides, falconry displays, farmyard tea time and the indoor soft play centre.
Father Christmas
Traditional yuletide performer, with a seemingly bottomless bag of fun and magic, adored by children and adults alike. Alas, his visits to these shores come but annually, but each year his performances are met with a heady mix of anticipation and excitement, celebration and commercialism. And like all the greats, he is often referred to by a single name: Santa. Unlikely to disappoint.
