Reggae stars UB40 have announced they will play Uttoxeter Racecourse as part of their biggest UK tour for over three years.

Starting at the O2 ABC in Glasgow on 31st March the band will play shows across the UK before the tour reaches Uttoxeter on May 17th 2014.

UB40 are one of the world's best-selling acts with over 70 million record sales to their name, and hits such as 'Red Red Wine', 'One in Ten", "Kingston Town" and "Can't Help Falling in Love" are amongst some of the 20th Century's best-known hit singles, the latter a number one single in both the UK and USA, and the title track of the Hollywood classic Basic Instinct.

Throughout their 30-year career they have been twice nominated for the Best Reggae Album at the Grammy Awards, and they continue to tour to sell-out arenas and festivals globally.

The concert will take place after racing on 17th May and tickets are already on sale either online or from the racecourse office. Anyone buying either a Grandstand and Paddock or Premier ticket will get to enjoy a full race meeting followed by the concert.
