Sheffield indie-pop guitar merchants The Crookes are signed to influential indie label Fierce Panda. Citing a range of diverse influences, from The Smiths and Orange Juice to 60's girl groups through to 50's rock and roll, the band embrace these sounds under their own genre known as 'New Pop'. The Crookes have gained themselves some famous fans, including fellow Sheffield icon Richard Hawley, and look set to build an impressive career with 2012 debut album 'Hold Fast'.

It was a great gig!
The bands energy was great, i loved the music and although they didn't play for long it was still great.
I also met the band afterwarsd and go their autograph which was very cool and they're really nice guys.
