Born in Dayton, Ohio, Skip McDonald has played with the likes of Wilson Picket, George Clinton and James Brown, and has been a session guitarist for Sugar Hill Records. Making his name playing influential early rap classics with the Sugar Hill house band, Skip now returns to the Ohio blues he grew up with and learned from his father - it’s raw, stripped down and intense. Acoustic U.S. blues tradition crashes into the 21st century with sound effects that create a unique brand of Dub Gospel blues!
