The solo project (known as Final Fantasy before 2010) of Owen Pallett, ex Hidden Cameras member, violist and arranger for Arcade Fire who has won fans including David Bowie, Bloc Party and U2.
Performing by himself with only his violin and looping pedal, Owen manages to build up the most complex wonderful songs with catchy hooks and euphoric lush melodies that recall Rufus Wainwright, Philip Glass and in places Joanna Newsom and Devendra Banhart.
