Lil' Chris began his road to fame appearing on Channel 4's Rock School hosted by Kiss' Gene Simmons. During the show he became Simmons' protege and despite arguments and jealousy amongst his classmates went on to be the obvious star. After the show, Lil' Chris went solo, gaining a record deal and releasing his first single which went to number three in the UK charts.
