Critically acclaimed folk singer Emmy the Great, real name Emma-Lee Moss, was initially a member of the indie folk group Lightspeed Champion, performing as their vocalist for a brief period in 2007 alongside Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine). Now a solo artist, her debut album, First Love, was released in 2009 to mass critical acclaim. Noted for her evocative and thought-provoking lyrics, and her inventive way with rhyme, her live performances have bags of vulnerability and sass in equal measures.

Single release at the shop, so very intimate gig. She was really friendly, having a great time laughing with the band etc. Funny banter with the crowd and each other. Sweet voice. Definitely want to see again. LN from Central London
