The former guitarist with American alt-rock favourites Galaxie 500 and Luna, he has since focussed his career on producing (Mercury Rev), film soundtracks (The Squid And The Whale), publishing a memoir of his life in the world of indie-rock (Black Postcards) and forming the duo Dean & Britta (with Britta Phillips). After splitting in 1991, Wareham has decided to revisit his epic dream-like Galaxie 500 material for some rare live outings. Minus the rest of the band, the work of Galaxie 500's intense guitar atmospherics live on in 2010.
