Formed in 2008, Chapel Club takes their name from the area in which they practised on London's Old Road. Raised on a diet of Nick Cave, Scott Walker, the Smiths and Deerhunter, the five-piece create a dark indie wall of sound, led by the enthralling vocals of Lewis Bowman. Reverb-drenched guitars and occasional synth bursts create a much-needed Joy Division for today.
