Originally cited as potential successors to The Smiths, Macclesfield Britpoppers Marion split in 1999 after a relatively successful six-year run, a split some attribute to the 'Curse Of Morrissey' - that praise from Morrissey would spell doom for any young band. A reformation in 2006, however, has seen the band play sellout shows with a brand new lineup.
