For Marla are an alternative rock band formed in Brighton in 2011.
The original line up consisted of vocalist Nathan Lornie, guitarist Ashley Lornie, Percussion Anthony Eagle and bass player Lee Vincent, supplemented by a drum machine and the use of synthesizers.
As the band developed they added live drums and a additional guitarist Billy Lenson. Inspired by the post-punk movement the band has drawn comparisons to Joy Division, The Cure and Morrissey.
