At the heart of Richmond rhythm 'n' blues, these legendary ‘bad boys of rock’ created some of the most exciting and innovative records of the late sixties and early seventies.
Original Pretty Thing, Phil May is on lead vocals, guitar and blues harp, Dick Taylor (original Pretty Things, also an original Rolling Stone) is on acoustic, slide and lead guitar, and Frank Holland on acoustic, slide guitar, backing vocals and harp.
The Pretty Things’ first 3 singles 'Rosalyn', 'Don't Bring Me Down' and 'Honey I Need' all made the charts. The band then moved from rhythm n blues, through psychedelia, their famous rock opera, S.F Sorrow, and heavy metal – and now again back to the music that made them famous - rhythm 'n' blues.
