Mind And Movement Workshop

Mind and Movement is a new choreographic resource from Wayne McGregor/Random Dance which is based around the Choreographic Thinking Tools that have emerged from Wayne McGregor's methods in the studio and which are grounded in a decade of research with cognitive scientists.

The session will start with a dynamic warm up followed by a practical exploration of Mind and Movement including: working through lesson plans, using and understanding the Choreographic Thinking Tools, and looking at how each lesson and its component tasks relate to school contexts. The workshop will be delivered by Jasmine Wilson, Director of Creative Learning for Random Dance.

The workshop will be followed by a Creative Conversation event with Wayne McGregor and Gay Watson. This is your chance to hear directly from Wayne about his approach to working with his scientific collaborators, and the process behind his craft.
