Forestry Commission Live Music Tour: Erasure + Sophie Ellis Bextor
After more than four years away from recording and live performance, Erasure have announced the Total Pop! tour, a series of dates for summer 2011 playing their hits as part of Forestry Commission Live Music, where acts perform in spectacular woodland locations across the country.
The Total Pop! tour will coincide with the release of Erasure's brand new album, planned for release in summer 2011.
Erasure
In 1985, former Depeche Mode and Yazoo songwriter Vince Clarke teamed up with unknown singer Andy Bell to form what was to become one of the most successful pop duos of all time. With a string of hits to their name, including Sometimes, A Little Respect and the Abba-esque EP, Clarke's catchy electro-pop and Bell's flamboyant, camp showmanship make their rare live shows an unmissable spectacle.

Former indie chick with 'theaudience' who has reinvented herself to become a stylish, classy and successful disco diva. Chances are if you've been on a dancefloor anytime since 2001, one of her songs has been playing. And her mum is Janet Ellis - how cool is that?
