Jane Eyre: Hull Truck Theatre Company
Hull Truck Theatre is back on the road with a brand new version of the classic gothic tale Jane Eyre.
Travelling across the bleak Yorkshire moors in search of adventure, Jane Eyre must rely on herself in the world. In an intense and vibrant retelling of CharlotteBrontë’s story, follow the fiercely independent Jane as she arrives at the mysterious Thornfield Hall and meets the intriguing Mr Rochester.
Jane can sense the hidden depths of the house and of the man – but can she face the secrets she will discover? Can the constraints of society and the dark past be overcome? Should Jane trust her head or follow her heart?
