Swindon Youth Slam

Fast-paced, fun-filled, fully-charged performance poetry! The heat is on to find the top young poets at this year’s Festival. Each year, the poems and performances get better and better. Audiences will be able to see young people draw words from their imagination and hit the stage with clever and quick-fire wordplay.

Following wordshops in schools across the region, delivered by seasoned slammers Sara-Jane Arbury and Marcus Moore, Swindon’s wittiest young wordsters will perform their most slamtastic poetry in a bid to reach the hearts and hearing parts of the audience, with wonderful words that reach parts that lesser words might not reach!
