Griffith John Exhibition
This new temporary exhibition traces the remarkable life of the famous Swansea Missionary Griffith John who went to China in 1855 and stayed for over fifty years. He travelled the country extensively, where he was a widely popular figure, and set up schools, hospitals and colleges. Amongst the highlights on display will be a number of Chinese banners which John donated to the Museum. There will be a range of workshops connected to the exhibition.
