Jaco Pastorius influenced bass virtuoso Laurence Cottle is possibly the best electric bass player the UK's ever produced. He leads his barnstorming 16 -piece big band, made up of the cream of London"s brass section talent including Nigel Hichcock, Simon Alien, Mark Nightingale.
The set will include stunning recreations of Jaco"s ensemble pieces. Among Cottle"s inventive songs is a reinterpretation of the Miles Davis bebop number "Donna Lee"
