Stratford Jazz Presents: Chris Bowden
Alto saxophonist Chris Bowden is always an electrifying live performer especially with his own quartet featuring Steve Tromans on keys, Ben Markland on double bass and Neil Bullock on drums.
"Much as I enjoy their recordings this is band to see live, they prove that good serious jazz can be enormous fun at the same time," Roy Stevens.
Chris is a most powerful and inventive improviser and tonight's programme will encompass works from the likes of Kern, Van Heusen, and Coltraine, with some originals from Ben Markland.
