Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club

Andy Askins is a diminutive figure who exudes an air of vulnerability and an innocent child-like quality as he steps up to the microphone armed with a guitar and a cheeky grin. It's an overwhelmingly misleading demeanour which serves to heighten the impact of the killer lines that he delivers.

With a wickedly dry sense of humour, Andy's darker material is sweetened by his innocent and impish demeanour which never fails to leave audiences in the palm of his hand. With impeccable timing, the inventive and quirky songs are peppered with inspired patter - the material is as strong as the songs and delivered in an inimitable modest and self-deprecating style.

Andy is an accomplished performer who has spent the past 15 years travelling the world as a professional musician, now performs regularly at The Comedy Store in both London and Manchester as well as at Jongleurs venues nationwide. He was also recently invited to join Dave Spikey (Peter Kay's 'Phoenix Nights') as a special guest during his nationwide tour.

On your TV screens, he has performed on the most recent series of The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, and two series of The World Stands Up, also for Comedy Central.

Scott Bennett is a yorkshireman who charms audiences with his delightfully sharp comedic observations about life’s little quirks, relationships and the subtleties of human behaviour. The last time we saw someone this talented on their way up the comedy ladder it was Jason Manford and before that Sarah Millican. It won’t be long before he’s snapped up by a cigar smoking bigwig and doing his own tours and TV work.

Glenn Moore is not only a very funny man in own right he's also one half of the critically-acclaimed sketch comedy duo Thunderbards. As a result he's been voted one of GQ's 'Top Ten Funniest Shows at the Fringe' as well as being finalists in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year competition, performing on McAuley And Co on BBC Scotland, and had two jokes from their show 'Seconds' included in the Daily Mirror's and the Edinburgh Evening News' top ten funniest jokes of the Edinburgh Fringe. Outside of comedy, Glenn is a newsreader for radio stations across the country, including Capital FM, Classic FM, XFM, Heart, Smooth, Sky News Radio and LBC.

Freddie Quinne is your award winning MC for the evening and has a highly original personality which is simultaneously vulnerable and a tour def force capable of wining over any crowd.
