The Sound Of Music (Touring)
The world famous heart-warming story of the von Trapp family and their escape from Nazi occupied Austria is brought to life in this lavish new production from Staffordshire’s Stage Productions.
Starring as Mother Abbess is Opera sensation Denise Leigh (winner of Channel 4’s Operatunity and star of the 2012 London Paralympics opening Ceremony) alongside actress and opera singer Shelley Anne Rivers (Coronation Street, Pirates of Penzance, Iolanthe) as Maria.
Featuring the songs you have come to know and love including Sixteen Going On Seventeen, My Favorite Things, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, and of course, The Sound of Music, this brand-new lavish production promises to be the ultimate treat for the whole family.
Plus, why not join in on one of the special ‘Sing-along’ performances on either Wednesday 30 January or Friday 1st February at 7.30pm? Join the party atmosphere by dressing up as an Austrian, a nun, some mountains, or even brown paper packages tied up with string!
