Teesside Punk Festival: A Night For Niggsi: The Filth + Amazing Spacefrogs + Funhouse + Johnny Seven + Dogflesh + No Way + Snide Remarks + Zeitgeist 77
Teesside Punk Rock Festival brings together the very best of old and new punk bands from across the area for the very first time.
The festival has been organised to celebrate the life of Nigel 'Niggsi' Johnson, local musician and all round great guy, who sadly died last year. Niggsi was a larger than life character and a huge supporter of the local punk music scene. He would have loved nothing better than to see all his old band mates and new friends tear the roof off the Georgian Theatre.
See for yourself why punk has never died on Teesside, but is still very much alive and screaming. Eight fantastic bands from right across the punk spectrum, sharing both a love of cranked up rock and roll and for the great man himself.
