Technical Theatre Masterclass

Budding technicians experience a one-day workshop to explore technical theatre and will cover lighting, sound and stage effects. The day will provide three areas of learning:

Lighting, which will cover different types of lighting, lighting desks and how to create basic lighting states.

Sound, which will include different types of playback for shows, how sound effects are played and the basics of microphones including how to use them without any feedback.

Stage Effects, which will give participants a chance to learn more about how to use Haze fluid, smoke machines and more.

By the end of the day participants will have taken on a technical challenge to showcase their skills from the day. All those that participate will be invited to come back to ARC to shadow and support the technical team during a summer performance.
