Pop Poetry Workshop
Poems about clouds and sunflowers can be a bit boring, can't they? But when you perform a poem in front of an audience it is about the things that really grab people by the ears. It can be as strange as a cat tap-dancing to Justin Bieber, it can be as exciting as bungee jumping off a bridge on Christmas morning... in a onesie.
Come and join Rowan McCabe for three days of workshops where you will learn all about capturing the world around you in poetry. You will get interviewed by your favourite celebrities, have a go at rapping about your home town, learn what pretending to be a crab has to do with making a good show and create a piece of performance poetry which tells the whole world where you come from and who you really are.
For ages 12 and over.
