Britten At Teatime
As part of Turner Sims' Britten Series BCMG presents a programme of beautifully crafted early works, framing them with similarly small-scale pieces from composers with close connections to him. Throughout his life Britten enjoyed writing for specific performers.
The afternoon, which is introduced by celebrated composer John Woolrich, also includes music inspired by Henze and Copland inspired by the East Anglian homeland.
