An Evening With Boycott & Aggers
To celebrate the 2013 Ashes clashes, Britain’s most popular cricket commentators met live on stage for the first time at major venues in each of the host cities of the England v Australia test matches.
Playing to packed houses in London, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle, the original odd couple amazed and enthralled both devotees of the game and non-cricket lovers alike with their hilarious stories and quick-fire wit. Special celebrity guests - Stephen Fry, Jeff Thomson, Nick Hancock and Rory Bremner - added to the entertainment, but it was the Boycott and Agnew exchanges that audiences found spell-binding.
Fresh from their commentaries duties on England's disastrous tour down under, Geoffrey Boycott and Jonathan Agnew returned for four more shows in January, which were even more successful than their summer outings. Now, due to popular demand, they are back for another short and exclusive run.
Again, the pair debate hot topics as England rebuild their team, management and shattered confidence and Boycs will give his no-nonsense views on cricket and life in general. The audience can tweet Aggers live with their own questions and the shows will, as ever, be fun, fiery and full of surprises!
